Lithuanian tourism presented to over 100 Russian journalists

“By inviting the Russian media, we wanted to show that Lithuania remained hospitable, safe and open to tourists from all countries, regardless of tense political situation,” the department’s director Raimonda Balnienė said in a press release on Monday.

The journalists were offered trips to present Lithuania’s tourism infrastructure and places of interest, namely, major cities, resorts and resort territories, SPA centres, rural tourism sites and cultural, active and culinary tourism opportunities in Lithuania.
