The Lithuanian vessel joined the forces after arriving in the German city of Kiel, thus becoming part of the NATO 1st group of mine-hunters, the Ministry of National Defence said on Wednesday.

Skalvis will serve in the unit and attend exercises in the Baltic and the North Seas until December.
