Six lists according to the country’s regions were compiled on Monday, under observation of public representatives. The total number of projected conscripts aged from 19 to 26 stands at nearly 37,000.
This year, 3,000 youths will be conscripted.
Upon receiving their conscription notices, future draftees have to report at the indicated mandatory military service and manning offices. Their personal data will be specified and afterwards they will be sent to the Military Medical Expertise Commission for health inspection. The first conscripts will arrive at the Lithuanian Grand Duke Butigeidis Dragoon Training Battalion on 24 August.
According to the latest data, a total of 1,136 volunteer conscripts will be serving.
