The first ever Lithuania‘s IT sector reputation level analysis was carried out by market research and consulting company TNS LT and INFOBALT.
Among four analysed sub-sectors, technology centres were found to have the best reputation, One-stop-shop sub-sector took the second place, followed by infrastructure services companies and software development companies.
Forty-six percent of respondents had positive view about the IT sector and around a quarter of respondents expressed negative views.
With 77 percent of positive views, media representatives were the most positive towards the IT sector, while 52 percent of business enterprise sector rated the IT sector positively as well.
IT sector reputation analysis was carried out in August – September 2015 and had 1,017 respondents from Lithuanian business enterprises, state and public institutions, media representatives and bloggers, Lithuanian students and members of INFOBALT association.
