The meeting will be attended by the ministers of defense and health, Raimundas Karoblis and Aurelijus Veryga, as well as the chairperson of the parliamentary Health Affairs Committee, Asta Kubilienė.
“This is the first meeting of this type to discuss such matters,” Vita Ramanauskaitė, spokeswoman for the defense minister, told BNS.
In her words, the politicians will also address possible amendments to regulate the health care system in case of a military conflict.
Training of doctors will also be on the agenda, said Ramanauskaitė.
