“Until 1 October, we have to prepare for a warning strike, and limited as well as non-limited strikes would be held in November and December,” Andrius Navickas, chairman of the Trade Union of Education Workers in Lithuania, told BNS.
Under the plan, teachers should be surveyed over the course of the upcoming 10-15 days on the approval or disapproval of strikes.
The representation in initiating strikes as to the Ministry of Education and Science has failed to respond to demands to improve working conditions for teachers.
