According to information provided by the Police Department, a milk can containing a WWII-era grenade and around 100 pages with printed text was discovered in the ground in a forest close to Girininkai I village in central part of the country.
The police said the pages featured a national emblem of Lithuania and a Lithuanian-language title of Guerrilla.
Justina Kazragytė, spokeswoman for the Kaunas County Police, said the finding was stored at the police station, adding that that the manuscript would later be handed over to specialists for analysis.
