Masiulis sworn in as Lithuania’s energy minister

President Dalia Grybauskaitė on Monday signed a decree to appoint Masiulis, 45, as energy minister on Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius’ recommendation.

Masiulis, an economist by profession, said at the start of the week that his first task was to ensure smooth completion of the Klaipėda LNG terminal project.
