The department said it was Thursday processing applications filed on Dec. 7, although the visa decisions should be made within 15 days.

“All applications for national visas are processed in the order they were filed, we are doing everything possible to make the decisions as soon as possible,” the institution said in a press release.

According to the communique, the delays should continue until the end of March “due to temporary disturbances.”
