“How should parents constructively explain the situation to their kids at such a sensitive moment when we ourselves were rather frightened? The kids did not fail to see it, it wasn’t until after discussions among ourselves that we could explain it was our allies that they saw.
“But seeds of anxiety have been planted. It’s a fact that we are vulnerable and uncertain, even though we are protected by NATO. No one can assure our safety. Should we be happy or scared?”
