In the minister’s words, the greatest damage may have been done to the salmon and sea trout populations of the river which flows into the Curonian Lagoon.
“What worries us most is the effect on salmon and sea trout, which could be caught in the city of Vilnius until now,” he told the Žinių Radijas station.
Navickas said that a special commission would be set up on Tuesday to assess the causes and consequences of the accident.
