Minister of Agriculture says ready to resign, but wants to hear specific facts

Asked after the meeting with Grybauskaitė whether he would consider resignation if President demanded to take responsibility for non-transparent activities, the minister said: “There was nothing very specific said about those non-transparent activities today. But if there were, then yes.”

Meanwhile, Nerijus Udrėnas, an adviser to Grybauskaitė, earlier said that the President believed that the minister had to take responsibility both for the agricultural sector and transparent activities of the ministry.
