Most Lithuanians pessimistic about developments in the country

Fifty-eight percent of those polled took negative attitude in June. A month later, the view of Lithuanians on the situation in the country remained the same, while compared to the results of the poll carried out a year ago, the number of those regarding the situation in Lithuania as improving declined by three percentage points.

Forty-one percent of those polled indicated that the situation in Lithuania was improving; one percent of the correspondents failed to express their opinion on the matter.

The optimistic point of view on the situation in Lithuania was observed in respondents under 30 years old, urban residents, people with higher education, students, professionals, employees and managers, people with highest monthly income (over LTL 2,500 or EUR 725) and right-wing voters.
