MP Skvernelis says to decide on agriculture minister Wednesday

“I’ve just read the answers that were made publicly available. The key fact is that no pre-trial investigation is being opened. As to irregularities identified, I want to read FNTT’s conclusion. I’ll ask them to send it to me,” Skvernelis told reporters on Tuesday.

“I believe I’ll make my decision after I receive the final conclusion. Apparently, this will happen tomorrow,” he added.

The Lithuanian Financial Crime Investigation Service (FNTT) has said in a response to opposition lawmakers that it will not launch a pre-trial investigation into Markauskas’ farming practices, although it has found possible irregularities.
