The survey by Spinter Tyrimai for the delfi.lt news website showed that 10.5 percent of people surveyed would vote for Skvernelis, if a presidential election was held on the upcoming weekend. His popularity rating remained unchanged from the last month when 10.7 percent were ready to vote for him.
Nausėda continues to top the list with 25.1 percent in September, compared to 19.7 percent in August.
Ex-Finance Minister and now MP Ingrida Šimonytė rose to the third place with 10.3 percent in September (8 percent in August). She was fifth last month. Diplomat Vygaudas Ušackas was fourth last month as 9.8 percent were ready to vote for him (8.3 percent in August).
Kaunas Mayor Visvaldas Matijošaitis dropped from the second to the fifth place as his popularity rating plunged to 8.3 percent last month, from 14.4 percent in August.
The survey was carried out on Sep. 19-26.
