Baltraitienė says she feels free to choose. “I have received no instructions, but, of course, I will have to present the people I will choose to the presidium. On 30 July, the meeting of the presidium of the party will be held and then I will have to present people that will be delegated by our party,” said Baltraitienė in an interview to the Žinių Radijas radio on Tuesday.
According to the minister, there is no requirement for the positions to be taken up necessarily by the members of the party.
“My choice is rather determined by competences. Bearing in mind that there are not so many livestock specialists in Lithuania, to find a specialist of this area is particularly difficult,” said Baltraitienė.
