“There is likelihood of (the candidates) being named by the end of this week,” Skvernelis told the Žinių Radijas radio station on Thursday morning.
He said that consultations and the screening of the ministerial candidates were still ongoing.
After securing approval from the parliament, Skvernelis on Tuesday received a mandate from the president to form his Cabinet within 15 days.
“It won’t take that long,” he said.
Skvernelis was proposed as prime minister by the Lithuanian Peasant and Green Union (LPGU), agreed to form a coalition government with the Social Democrats after wining last month’s parliamentary elections.
