No major violations reported in 2nd round of Seimas elections – police

“The second round, and today’s voting day in particular, was rather calm as far as the police are concerned. We have received a total of 50 reports about various violations, much fewer than in the first round,” Malaškevičius said at a news conference.

“No pre-trial investigations had been launched by 7 p.m.,” he said, noting that 13 pre-trial investigations had been opened in the first round two weeks earlier.
