Numavičius remains richest person in Lithuania

The second richest person in Lithuania is Žilvinas Marcinkevičius, another shareholder of the Vilniaus Prekyba Group, with LTL 1.163 billion (EUR 337 million).

Behind Marcinkevičius is Mindaugas Raila, who owns transport, logistics and storage business. He owns 90 percent of shares in company ME Investicija, which are worth LTL 961 million (EUR 278 million).

The fourth in the list is the brother of the richest person in Lithuania – Vladas Numavičius with LTL 812 million (EUR 235 million).

The richest woman in Lithuania is Lyda Lubienė, the widow of Bronislovas Lubys. Lubiene has inherited a major stake in Achema Group, she has a net worth of LTL 757 million (EUR 219 million) and is ranked sixth in the list.

The list of the richest persons is made based on data stored in the Register Centre and foreign register centres about shareholders of companies.
