Prosecutors and courts last year authorized the use of surveillance, wiretapping, monitoring of correspondence and other measures envisaged in the Law on Criminal Intelligence against 4,658 individuals, down from 5,150 a year ago, the Seimas Commission for Parliamentary Scrutiny of Criminal Intelligence said on Thursday.
