Office in Poland marks westward shift by Lithuanian Railways – CEO

“The old management perhaps looked more eastward, but we see great potential in the West, too,” Mantas Bartuška told reporters during the opening ceremony in Warsaw.

According to the CEO, the new office will facilitate negotiations with Poland on opening a link between Vilnius and Warsaw and will help ensure the implementation of the Rail Baltica European-gauge railway project.
