PM appoints adviser Matulionis as government vice-chancellor

Even after the appointment, Matulionis will continue advising the prime minister on foreign policy matters.

Matulionis told BNS he should also be in charge of foreign affairs at the government’s office.

“The same as I used to do: foreign affairs, European affairs, possibly cultural heritage, issues of historic memory. This will have to be finalized after a conversation with the chancellor,” he told BNS in comment of his new duties.
