PM to discuss investment plans with Orlen Lietuva’s new CEO

The prime minister’s spokesman Tomas Beržinskas told BNS that the meeting would address the company’s investment plans and the reconstruction of the Renge railway stretch – Lithuania’s state-run railway company Lietuvos Geležinkeliai was last October fined nearly 28 million euros for removing the tracks and will rebuild it in 2019.

“The Polish investment is very important for Lithuania’s energy security and we are happy that the business relations with Lietuvos Geležinkeliai resulted in mutually-beneficial cooperation,” Beržinskas said.
