A total of 28 companies were considered for six main and two additional prizes.
The awards traditionally go to the companies that make greatest contributions to economic cooperation between Lithuania and Poland.
The winners were picked by a jury consisting of representatives of Lithuanian and Polish business organisations and media.
This year’s awards were given in the following categories: The Investment of the Year, The Debut of the Year, The Contract of the Year, Market Success, Market Success of Small-Scale Business, and The Distributor of the Year.
The Investment of the Year award was presented by Lithuanian Minister of Environment Kęstutis Trečiokas to the Polish insurance company PZU SA. Representative of the Polish investment and construction subsidiary Investbudas LT was awarded with The Debut of the Year prize.
The construction and engineering company Mostostal Zabrze won in the category the Contract of the Year. The airline LOT, offering a Vilnius-Warsaw route three times a day, was announced the most successful Polish company operating in the Lithuanian market.
