Prime Minister Butkevičius assures that controversial energy vice-minister will not be in new government

The prime minister said too much attention was devoted to Cytacka. According to Butkevičius, he was reassured by the energy minister reassured that deputies will be chosen based on nothing more than personal competence and Cytacka will not be appointed.

As reported, after some delay Cytacka submitted her resignation on Tuesday night, which was signed by Minister of Energy Jaroslav Neverovič. Deputies of other ministries left office by 12 July, before the Government returned its powers to President Dallia Grybauskaitė.
