The jail term was requested by Vilnius prosecutor Linas Kuprusevičius at a court hearing on Wednesday.
Adomavičius is charged of demanding a bribe of EUR 11,600 back in 2012 in exchange for helping a company win a contract for waterworks construction and renovation.
He pleads not guilty, saying he was a victim of a provocation.
