Ratings of ruling Farmers hits lowest point after elections – poll

According to the poll by Vilmorus, the party would secure 12.4 percent of the vote in October, down from 13.5 percent a month ago.

“The LFGU have the lowest rating over the entire post-election period, although it holds the second place,” Vilmorus CEO Vladas Gaidys told BNS.

Gaidys said the decline in ratings was due to the fact that voters got disillusioned with the party’s performance after the triumphant parliamentary elections.

The popularity list is still topped by the opposition Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats (conservatives). Should the elections take place next Sunday, the party would secure votes of nearly 15 percent of the vote, which is a rise from 14.1 percent in September.
