Žiuljenas Galeckas, the head of RE/MAX Lietuva, says the merger is part of the company’s strategy of increasing its market share.
“Over the coming several years, our company is planning to employ over 450 agents and actively develop buyer representation services using new technological solutions that we are currently developing and will present to the market shortly,” Galeckas said in a statement.
Citus employs about 40 real estate agents and has two offices, in Vilnius and Kaunas.
RE/MAX Lietuva is part of the American RE/MAX franchise. It has 12 offices across the country.
