Remigijus Šimašius on #TOWER: the ugly duckling becomes a beautiful swan

In Thursday afternoon, R. Šimašius visited a new residential skyscraper #Tower which is located on the right bank of Neris river. Although the #Tower had been already open for some time, the mayor of the capital along with several other people were visiting the building for the first time.

“#Tower project for me personally symbolizes a more beautiful and ambitious Vilnius which I had to raise up from stagnation a few years ago as I began my job as a mayor. Now we can enjoy a lot of exclusive architectural constructions that have appeared on the right bank of the Neris in recent years. I am grateful for everyone who contributes to our capital’s prosperity and well-being”said Šimašius. He thanked the developers that one and a half year ago he had a chance to take over the abandoned real estate project and bring it to a new life. “The ugly duckling became a beautiful swan” the mayor laughed.

The mayor is pleased that the face of the right bank of Neris river is gaining new and more attractive features. His team has always aimed at giving Vilnius more dynamics, so the city would maintain and accelerate its’ growth on a way of becoming a modern and fast developing city. Meanwhile, modern architecture and cutting-edge engineering solutions are the key ingredients providing the stability for such growth.

Saulius Kulvietis, Director of Commercial Development at IREC Baltic, a company that develops the project, introduced mayor to innovations of the #Tower premises. He emphasized that #Tower has the ambition to be the best, therefore, the project not only employed the latest technologies to guarantee personal security, but also introduced the most advanced solutions for maximum comfort.

“In order to reach this, a smart home-management app, unlocking common spaces with a single touch of a button and other civilizational tricks were installed. Undoubtedly, the location of the home is also important for every person. It does not matter, whether a person is concerned about the convenience of reaching his favorite places on the other side of the river, relaxation or seeing a fascinating view which is incomparable to any other ones in the city. #Tower has it all. We are glad to have created the perfect infrastructure for family, leisure and entertainment “said Kulvietis.
