Russia hampers Lithuanian carriers’ participation in international transport service market

During a sitting of the Working Group on Road Transport of the International Transport Forum, Russia has informed that the validity of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) permits, which are used for third-country journeys to other ECMT countries or between them, is reduced to 16 basic units. It means that in 2015, only 16 permits will be valid in Russia out of 169 basic permits issued to Lithuania.
