Russia seeks infiltration of young men with dual citizenship as Lithuanian recruits

Colonel Remigijus Baltrėnas, director of the Second Investigations Department under the Ministry of Defense, told a news conference at the parliament that such attempts were reported, however, did not specify the number of established attempts.

Defence Minister Raimundas Karoblis noted that recruits were being screened, adding that “infiltration actually does not work out.”
