The speaker said this after Interior Minister Tomas Žilinskas‘ meeting with members of the Labour Party‘s political group in the Seimas on Tuesday.
“What worries me most is probably information from the interior minister that they asked for additional funds to be allocated in next year’s budget for dealing with internal security issues and border protection in particular, but the Finance Ministry did not allocate a single extra euro,” she told reporters.
Graužinienė, a member of the Labour Party, said that Žilinskas had asked for extra €30 million for the Ministry of the Interior in 2017 budget.
