Seimas votes for lifting MP Ručys’ legal immunity

Taking into account the Commission for Ethics and Procedures‘ conclusion, the resolution’s rejection with at least 71 votes in favour means that legal immunity has been abolished, Social Democrat Algirdas Sysas, who chaired the parliamentary sitting, explained.

Ručys was not present during the hearing. His fellow political group members said the MP had been taken to Santariškės hospital.
