Ship traffic restrictions still in place in Klaipėda due to strong winds

“Waves are still high, reaching up to 4 meters high, and pilots still cannot access ships in the sea. Only ships than don’t need pilot assistance can enter and exit the port,” she said.

Six vessels are now awaiting entry into the port, Ringis said.

Ship traffic has been restricted in Klaipėda since 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
