SocDem leaders, ethics panel to discuss rebellious MPs’ behavior

“The (party’s) statute sets out everything very clearly. Should any member fail to comply with the party’s decision, he or she has two options: either not to impede the implementation of the party’s decision or the Ethics and Procedures Commission will assess what impact this has on the party’s reputation, authority and so on,” the chairman told reporters.

“The issue will be undoubtedly discussed by the party’s Ethics and Procedures Commission and the presidium,” he said.

According to Paluckas, the lawmakers may face a warning, reprimand or expulsion from the party.
