Some 30.7 percent of respondents said in December that they would vote for the LPGU, up by 3.9 percentage points compared with a similar poll conducted in November.
The conservative Homeland Union–Lithuanian Christian Democrats remained in second place with 12 percent support, followed by the Social Democratic Party in third with 8.9 percent.
