Syrian refugee family lands in Vilnius, second to resettle through EU program

The two young people – a man and a woman – both have university-level educations and speak English well.

The woman is a Muslim from the Alawite minority and has worked as an English-language teacher. The man is a Christian with a degree in arts who has worked as graphic designer.

“We hope that they will be met with a successful integration process, because this couple has the desire and ability to settle down here,” said vice-minister of the interior Elvinas Jankevičius.
