The Song Celebration charms clients in Vilnius stores

The participants in the Song Celebration surprised everyone in Maxima stores at Akropolis and Ozas shopping malls, as well as in Maxima store on Mindaugas Street. The Vilnius University Ensemble ‘Ratilio’, the Vilniaus Gedminas Technical University Orchestra and the Lithuanian High School Ensemble ‘Vasaris’ Hüttenfeld, Germany created the festive atmosphere.

‘Lithuania’s Centenary Song Celebration is a special occasion, where we can gather together through songs and dance, as well as feeling proud to be a part of Lithuania’s Centenary. The festive mood, which is created by the singing, dancing and playing of the participants in the Song Celebration, is being felt everywhere in the city, even in the shopping centres. Therefore, we invite everyone to take part in various events. On behalf of Maxima, we are delighted to be able to contribute to organization of this extraordinary event and maintaining our traditions,’ said Kristina Meidė, the CEO of Maxima.

Additionally, Maxima has joined the civic initiative ‘Lithuania 4,000,000’ inviting every Lithuanian citizen to sing the National Anthem, all throughout the world. ‘No matter whether you are living in Lithuania or abroad, let’s celebrate Statehood Day on the 6th of July by singing the National Anthem together, at the very same moment. This will let us not only feel how huge and lively Lithuania is, but will also give us an opportunity to call ourselves the most united nation in the context of the Statehood Centenary,’ claimed K. Meidė.
