TS-LKD remains most popular party in Lithuania – DELFI/Spinter survey

In April, 17.3 percent of voters said they would vote for the conservative TS-LKD, according to the survey by Spinter Tyrimai for the delfi.lt news website. The party received 18.6 percent in March.

The ruling Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union came in second with 15.2 percent in April, down from 16.9 percent in March.

The Order and Justice party was third with 7.7 percent, up from 7.5 percent in March. And the Liberal Movement got 7 percent, compared to 5.8 percent in March.

The Social Democrats, led by Gintautas Paluckas, had 5.2 percent in April, down from 6.5 percent a month earlier. Not far from them were the „social-laborers“, led by Gediminas Kirkilas, with 4.6 and 3.7 percent respectively.

4.5 percent would vote for the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Christian Families Alliance, up from 4 percent in March, and the Lithuanian Center Party would get 3 percent, down from 3.3 percent in March.

The remaining parties would not exceed the 5 percent threshold to get into parliament.

The survey also showed 17.5 percent of voters would not vote and 10.7 percent were undecided.

1,015 people, aged 18-75, took part in the survey on Apr. 17-26. The bias was 3.1 percent.
