Ukraine, Georgia ‘must be granted visa-free travel soon’ – Lithuanian PM in Prague

“Ukraine and Georgia should be granted visa-free travel in the nearest future,” the Lithuanian governmental press service cited the prime minister as saying.

Butkevičius and Hamacek discussed Eastern Partnership policies, stressing that Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova should be provided full political and financial assistance on the path to the EU.

On Tuesday, Butkevičius also met with Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka and discussed the upcoming NATO summit in Warsaw. The two heads of governments discussed the need to improve the measures of deterrence and defence, according to the statement.
