The traditional mission is setting of for countries where children need help the most. On 2 August, a mission from Lithuania is leaving for Haiti.
“We can be proud that Lithuania is giving hope to children throughout the world. By joining international humanitarian assistance projects we contribute to saving lives of children and taking care of their basic needs such as food, shelter, medications and medical assistance,” said the president.
