Vilnius-Paris flights delayed due to anti-terrorist operation

Air Lituanica head of communications Sandra Meškauskaitė told ELTA news agency that on Friday the plane heading from Vilnius to Paris departed later than usual. The flight from Paris to Vilnius is also late.

“We were unable to leave Vilnius Airport on time because we were warned that we would not be allowed to land in the French Airport due to events there. However, we were allowed to fly one hour later,” said Meškauskaitė and added that the plane headed to Vilnius has not departed from Charles de Gaulle Airport.

According to the Air Lituanica representative, the plane left Vilnius 2 hours behind schedule. The one from Paris was also expected to leave France 2 hours later than usual.
