The Central Electoral Commission (VRK) ruled on Tuesday that episodes when Karbauskis invited viewers to visit Naisiai, a settlement in Šiauliai District, northern Lithuaniam as well as the episodes featuring the LVŽS’s party newspaper and a calendar with the LVŽS logo were political advertizing.
Agrokoncernas said it transferred almost 332,000 euros to Videometra, a production company, for filming Naisių Vasara but Videometra refused to disclose its other sponsors.
Three VRK members issued their separate opinion on the TV series, demanding that it be deemed hidden political advertising of the LFGU and consider if it’s not a gross violation of the rules on funding political campaigns.
