14th Charity Bazaar opens in Vilnius tomorrow

This is the 14th edition of this International Bazaar, organised by the International Women’s Association of Vilnius. The Bazaar is a massive fund-raising event and gathers more than 35 diplomatic representation and several international schools to contribute to its success. Last year the Bazaar raised more than 140,000 Euro for a wide range of good causes and this year looks even more promising.

There will be an extensive selection of food, drinks and original gift ideas from around the world. Gifts, including crafts and jewellery, will be on offer to cater to all tastes and budgets. In addition to the fair’s offerings, there is also a lottery with more than 50 prizes, including two stays in the exclusive IDW Esperanza Resort and a trip for two in a hot air balloon.

Traditional dance performances throughout the day will entertain the visitors whilst the Vilnius-based Viva choir and Jazz Island, a children’s ensemble will sing Christmas carols and seasonal festive songs.

All this takes place in the good spirit of giving and receiving during this festive season of the year.

The Bazaar will be open from 12H to 18H in the Old Vilnius Town Hall Rotušė. Plenty of food and drink specialities are available for visitors.
