The inscriptions were found on Thursday morning. Rozova’s daughter Valerija Scerbina lives in Tauralaukis suburb of Klaipėda. The house was vandalized with red five-pointed stars painted on the house as well as slogans saying “Freedom for Lithuania”, “Russians Go Home” and “No to Russians”.
“My daughter and her kids are very frightened. It’s such a trauma, you understand it yourselves. I believe that it has to do with my work. It happened after I attended a rally yesterday, dedicated to the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Klaipėda’s liberation from the fascists. Perhaps they did not like what I said,” Rozova told BNS.
The MP’s daughter has turned to the police over the incident. A pre-trial investigation has not been launched yet as officers are collecting information.
Rozova was elected to the Seimas as part of the candidate list of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania party. She was also an MP in 2004-2008.
