The ministry said in a press release that its website had been subjected to a denial of service attack (DDoS).
According to the ministry, its IT team has taken all the necessary measures to ensure that its other information resources are not disrupted and that Lithuania’s diplomatic missions abroad continue working as normal.
The websites of more than ten Lithuanian public institutions came under cyber attacks several weeks ago.
