Baltic defence ministers to discuss joint security projects

The Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian defence ministers “will discuss joint Baltic security and defence projects, the upcoming NATO Summit of July 2018, relations with allies, and security and defence projects in the European Union context,” the Lithuanian Defence Ministry said in a press release.

“The ministers will also address trilateral cooperation priorities for 2018,” it said.

They will conclude the meeting by signing a joint communiqué on cooperation.

The defence minister of the three countries cooperate within the Baltic Security and Defence Cooperation framework, which is led by Latvia this year. Lithuania will take over next year.
