President Dalia Grybauskaitė will accept the award at a ceremony in Berlin on 6 November.
The award will also be conferred upon the presidents of Latvia and Estonia in celebration of the Baltic countries achievements in regaining their independence and blending into the European family, the press service said.
According to the communiqué, the Baltic states have successfully handled the economic crisis, consistently support the European integration and have become an example of success to all European nations.
Uniting over 400 publishers, the Association of German Magazine Publishers presents the Golden Victoria award annually in four categories, namely, promotion of European integration, promotion of pro-European ideas, business achievements and lifetime merits.
Earlier recipients of the Golden Victoria Prize include outgoing European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, Ireland’s Prime Minister Enda Kenny, Poland’s ex-PM Donald Tusk and European airplane manufacturer, Airbus.
