Civilian worker dies at Lithuanian Air Force Aviation Base

Captain Ieva Gulbinienė, assistant to the Aviation Base commander, told BNS that the person was a 62-year-old boiler room worker who had been working there for more than three years.

In Gulbinienė’s words, the person started feeling ill and lost consciousness on Monday morning.

Military physicians and an ambulance from Šiauliai were called to the scene but were unable to bring the man back to life. He was declared dead at 10 AM local time.

The cause of death is yet to be established, military police is working at the scene.
