According to Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius, the would-be diplomatic representation is a reflection of intensifying institutional and private relations between Lithuania and Croatia.
“I am convinced that the opening of a Croatian embassy in Vilnius will strengthen our countries’ current sincere friendship and will contribute to developing successful cooperation between Lithuania and Croatia in politics, business, science, culture, sports and other areas,” Linkevičius is quoted in the press release.
